For decades, folks have felt the freedom to sunbathe in the buff in this secret spot. But in 2020, Blind Creek was officially designated as a clothing-optional beach. Hooray!

Designed by mother nature, Blind Creek does not have showers or other comfortable amenities. So, just make sure to bring your own stuff like water, snacks, and gear.

2. Haulover Beach

Haulover Beach is the second-best nudist beach in the world, and it’s no wonder why. It has all the amenities of a fabulous beach, gorgeous Miami shores, and designation as a nude beach. So it’s a no-brainer that people come from all over the world to sunbathe here.

Haulover is a large public beach in Miami Beach with concessions, lifeguards, and rentals. So you’re set for a fabulous day without needing to pack everything.

The clothing optional section is at the north end of the beach, between lifeguard stands 12 and 16.

3. South Beach

Yes, that South Beach!

Okay, let’s be honest here. South Beach is technically not a clothing-optional beach, but socially topless sunbathing happens here all the time – specifically close to Lummus Park. It’s just advised not to go fully nude –  if you do, you could get into a lot of trouble or even be arrested.

4. Playalinda Beach

At Playalinda Beach, everyone is welcome, even naturists.

Playalinda Beach is situated on the beautiful Canaveral National Seashore. As a national park, the beach is undeveloped and remains the way mother nature intended it to be. Here, you can feel free to be the way that nature made you, too.

Expect to pay an entrance fee of $20 per vehicle. You’ll also want to bring your own gear and refreshments for a day on the beach.

To reach the clothing optional designated area, make sure to park in lot #13. Then use the #13 entrance and crossover to get to the beach.

5. Bunche Beach Preserve

Nestled on the Gulf Coast Bunche Beach Preserve is an escape into nature. The preserve’s 718 acres are located on San Carlos Bay and is named after Ralph Bunche, the first African American to win the Nobel Prize.

The shoreline of the preserve has calm, shallow waters making it easy to relax. It’s like you’re miles away from the worries of the world.

On this secluded stretch of beach, folks have been known to bare it all. Just know that it’s technically not a nude beach, so use precautions and be ready to cover up. You wouldn’t want to get in trouble!

Since there are no amenities at Bunche Beach, you’ll want to bring gear with you.

6. Boca Chica Beach

Boca Chica Beach is a great little spot with a bit of history.

Located at the end of a washed-out road, Boca Chica is said to be abandoned. With telephone poles to nowhere and a wall of shoes nicknamed “lost souls,” it’s a unique spot and a favorite among locals.

Years back, a group of people took care of this stretch of beach to make it welcoming to everyone, especially nudists. There was even a sign posted announcing the clothing-optional beach. Despite this history, it’s debated whether the beach is technically clothing optional. So if you venture a go, just remember to keep a coverup close at hand.

7. Port Saint Lucie (Saint Lucie Inlet State Preserve)

To get to the Saint Lucie Inlet State Preserve, you’ll have to take a boat making it just about the most secluded beach on the list. With no real crowds to speak of, beachgoers find it comfortable enough to shed their suits.

Once you arrive on the island, walk the boardwalk through the forest. Waiting for you on the other side is the gorgeous Atlantic – you’ll likely have the place to yourself.

St. Lucie Inlet isn’t technically a clothing-optional beach, so use your own judgment when disrobing.
